Initial Assessment – £80/ hour (up to 3 hours)
Over the years, we’ve learned that expecting your child to ‘perform’ at their best in a one off session with a stranger doesn’t always result in a true picture of your child’s abilities. We feel it is best to give you and your child some time to get to know us; in this way we can see them interact more naturally as well as do some formal testing when they know and trust us a bit more.
We therefore usually complete an initial assessment ‘session’ over a couple of visits.
Assessment/ Therapy Summary Reports – £160
If you would like formal documentation of your child’s assessment results we are happy to write a detailed report for you which will outline their strengths and weaknesses, as well as provide supportive strategies and recommendations.
Reports are useful when you want to share information with third parties such as your child’s school or other health professionals who may also be working with you and your child.
You may feel you do not need a report if your main focus is on supporting your child at home.
Reports can be provided for you at any point in our therapy relationship.
Tribunal Assessment – Please contact us to discuss
Assessments in support of tribunal hearings often need to be much more detailed and specific. They will always require a report which needs to be very detailed. We cannot provide a specific price for this type of work as we have to decide on this on a case by case basis.
Our assessments include:
• pre-assessment discussion
• formal and/ or informal assessment, including in-depth meeting with family
• detailed written report
• recommendations for next steps
Therapy Session – £80
Session prices include all the preparation that goes into planning our sessions as well as follow-up clinical administrative duties.
You can prepay for blocks of sessions and make savings.
Block of 6 sessions – £450
Block of 10 sessions – £700
Sessions will usually include between 30 – 50 minutes of direct therapy, depending on the age and attention levels of your child.
Sessions will usually be a mix of informal play based tasks, more formal tasks (where developmental level of your child permits) and discussion/ modelling of strategies to parents. We place a strong emphasis on parental engagement in our sessions.
